“Hi Steve I Just Wanted To Thank you again for the
wonderful job you did for Lori & I, a number of
people told us they thought you did a great job....
Comments such as
" I never saw so many people on the dance floor"
were common. We were hoping for a great party but
you made it better than expected"
Thank you

ABOUT THE OWNER
Sound
Advice Music and Entertainment is owned and
operated FULL-TIME by DJ/Master Entertainer
Steve Preston Zuelzke. Steve has been in the
entertainment business his entire
professional career and is the area’s
leading expert in the field of weddings and
entertainment. His passion for music and
entertaining started at age 12, when he met
DJs from the radio station WNAM 1280 AM,
YMCA Roof Top Dances, and CAC/SAC at the local teen club. His
fascination with the technology and the
skills needed to rock dance floors and make
crowds scream grew. At 13, non-stop mixing
in the bedroom and hanging out with the most
famous DJs in the area quickly raised
Steve‘s skill levels. At the age of 14
Steve’s parents allowed Steve to fuel the
passion with a purchase of his first
DJ System.
Several of
Steve’s famous friends recognized his
natural skills and offered him guest DJ
spots at huge dance parties, clubs, and
radio events. Over the next two years, Steve
built a reputation as one of the hottest DJs
in the Fox Valley party scene. At age 16,
Steve's reputation led him his first 21 and
up club gig at Mr. Robert’s Nightclub (Now
Sammy's Pizza) in Appleton. Even to this day, a DJ that young
rocking an adult dance floor is unheard of.

After
dominating the “teen club” scene at only 16
years old,

the
next DJ gig proved to be one of the cornerstones of
his career, and the one that would bring
Steve to where he is today. Steve was hired
as Entertainment Director and DJ for several nite clubs in the Fox Valley area.
Steve performed
nightly at several of these Nite Clubs in
the Fox Valley Area
including Mr. Roberts, Franky's, The Double
Ozone, Four
Seasons, Foxy's, and The Wind Jammer.
During his time at these clubs, Steve helped
develop a interactive style of
entertainment that incorporated lip syncs,
air bands, men's night dancers, ladies night
dancers, wet T-shirt contests, trivia night
contests and hosting a Sunday morning dance
show on TV channel 32. No one had ever seen anything like
it before, and these nite clubs quickly became
famous for its interactive staff. Now the DJ
meant more to the club than just the music.
He became a consummate professional and
complete performer. Now the DJ needed more
than just musical skill, he needed
entertainer
skills and
showmanship.
At the age of
23, after entertaining in nite clubs for 7
years, Steve wanted to learn more about the
music he was playing and about the radio
personalities creating all the "hits" so
Steve moved to Wausau, WI to attend
broadcasting school. After being at the
school for only 1 month Steve was hired at WJMT in Merrill,
then obtained an associates
degree in Radio & TV Broadcasting. Steve
graduated 3 months early, salutatorian of his
class. Steve was given permission to
complete his studies early because he was
hired as the evening DJ at KCHA AM/FM in
Charles City, IA, after being on the air for
only 2 weeks, Steve was quickly promoted to
the afternoon drive slot, creating the
afternoon affair. After 2.5 years Steve had
number 1 ratings in the area, was then
promoted to the morning drive time,
producing number one ratings in a 4 county
area. Steve was then promoted to program
director, sustaining morning drive DJ duties
then ended up as Corporate Program Director
for all 5 radio stations.

ABOUT SOUND ADVICE MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT

After
repeated requests for Steve to perform private events
outside of the club and radio, Sound Advice Music and
Entertainment was born. In 1982, after performing the first
wedding reception outside of the club, the response
was overwhelming. When word spread about his
performances, companies and event planners sought
Steve out for his unique talents. For over two
and a half decades,
Sound Advice Music and Entertainment has been the choice of brides and
event planners across the state. He has performed
for Affinity OBGYN's, Trugreen Chemlawn, Metso
Paper, YMCA of The Fox Cities, J.J. Keller,
McMahon & Associates, plus many more.

Steve has
worked with and performed alongside Eddie Money,
Janet Jackson, Holly Dunn, Michael Damien, The Romantics, The Ozark Mountain
Daredevils, Head East and many more.
His calendar quickly filled with referrals from
other couples and corporations, leading Steve to be the busiest DJ in the area, often booked
up to 3 years in advance with Weddings, Corporate,
and Social Events. It is best to reach Steve at
least 4 to 12 months in advance to secure a
contract.
“Thank you so much for providing the music at our

on 9/4/04. We had a lot of compliments on you, and the bubble machine with
the kids was a hit. You played all the songs we wanted, and then some :).
Everyone had a great time, including us!!! All we here about is how fun the
snowball dance turned out.... and how crazy it got!!!
A few of my friends are getting married next year, and they said they are
